An instant classic and must-read for anyone trying to find their way on this journey of life. Chapter 9 alone will change the way you view the thorn in your life! A bit of a slow start but stick it through.
The only book I have ever read and then immediately began reading again. My copy is full of highlights that I look back on frequently. I quote this book all the time. A must read especially if the voice in your head is pointing you in a crooked line.
Hands down the most interesting and eye-opening evolutionary psychology book I have ever read. I instantly became a groupie of Dr. Ryan. This book is for anyone who has ever strayed, thought of straying, or perhaps found themselves having been cheated on. An enthralling look at modern relationships.
Elizabeth Gilbert is one of my favorite authors. Not because of Eat, Pray, Love- but because of her incredible ability to jump from fiction to non-fiction and cover so many different things. This book look at marriages around the globe and how different cultures have come to define them. This is a must-read for anyone getting married, married, or divorced.
I am a bit of a data nerd and psychology obsessive so when I began realizing that Malcolm Gladwell had combined my two favorite things I read everything I could immediately and I pre-order everything new he comes out with. For the sake of this webpage, I am going to start with The Tipping Point but I highly encourage you to read them ALL.
This is a book about negotiating written by a former FBI negotiator. It reads with the excitement of a true-crime but the knowledge of the perfect non-fiction book. You cannot walk away from this book the way you came. Expect to never look at anything the same.
There are parts of this book I can't stop thinking about and I read it almost three years ago. This book uses big data to look at what people are searching for in their Google box and what that data means for us. Absolutely fascinating, sometimes disturbing, and one of the best I have ever read.
